PROPRIETRESS WELCOME NOTE
God’s Own School International Services Ltd. was established in 1985 in Wukari, Taraba State, by Rev. Mrs. Helen Ugo, the Proprietress of the school. Her vision was to provide quality education built on strong moral values and academic excellence.
The Director of the school is Dr. Ikechukwu Ugo, whose leadership and dedication have contributed greatly to the growth and development of the institution.
In 1995, due to security challenges, the school relocated from Wukari, Taraba State, to Owerri, Imo State, where it has continued to grow and flourish.
The school began with the Nursery section, which received official approval from the Ministry of Education, Imo State, on 17th May 1999. The Primary section was later established and officially approved on 25th February 2008. Approval to operate Primary Six was granted on 9th May 2008.
Over the years, God’s Own School International Services Ltd. has maintained a strong reputation for academic excellence and character development. We are proud of our alumni, many of whom have gone on to become successful professionals, including doctors, engineers, lawyers, and other distinguished individuals in various fields.
Our commitment remains steadfast: to nurture young minds, build strong character, and prepare our pupils for a bright and successful future.
